Anthony MASTROMAURO

Anthony Mastromauro is the founder of Identity Media. Since launching the company, Mr. Mastromauro has produced nine feature films, and is presently developing a number of additional motion picture and television projects.

Mr. Mastromauro recently produced THE OLD MAN AND THE GUN for Fox Searchlight, which opened on September 28, 2018 and premiered at the prestigious Telluride Film Festival, followed by the Toronto International Film Festival and The London Film Festival in Competition. The film was written and directed by David Lowery. Based on an article by David Grann, the film stars Academy Award Winners Robert Redford, Casey Affleck, and Sissy Spacek. Mr. Redford received a Golden Globe Nomination in the leading actor category for his role of Forest Tucker. Mr. Mastromauro’s next feature FINDING STEVE McQUEEN, debuted in March 2019, distributed by eOne Entertainment. The film is directed by Mark Steven Johnson, starring Travis Fimmel, William Fichtner, Rachael Taylor, and Academy Award Winner, Forest Whitaker.

Mr. Mastromauro’s previous film credits are KING OF THE CORNER, directed by and starring Peter Riegert, co-starring Isabella Rossellini, Rita Moreno and Eli Wallach. THE ORPHAN KING directed by Andrew Wilder, starring Chris Evans, Alexis Bledel and Bill Pullman. MOONLIGHT SERENADE starring Amy Adams for director Giancarlo Tallarico; BEER LEAGUE directed by Frank Sebastiano, starring Artie Lange and Ralph Macchio; AS COOL AS I AM, directed by Max Mayer starring Claire Danes, James Marsden, and Sarah Bolger as well as LOUDER THAN WORDS, directed by Anthony Fabian (SKIN), which stars David Duchovny, Hope Davis, and Timothy Hutton. He also produced BLACK BUTTERFLY, a remake of the French Film PAPILLON NOIR, directed by Brian Goodman, and starring Antonio Banderas, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, and Piper Perabo, released in 2017 by Lionsgate Premiere.

Mr. Mastromauro is currently developing several feature films, one of which with Academy Award winning writer, Charles Randolph (The Big Short) as a starring vehicle for Academy Award nominated actress, Margot Robbie, as well as working with directors such as Ruben Fleischer (Venom, Zombieland), Matthew Heineman (A Private War). Mr. Mastromauro also has TV projects set up at HBO and Showtime, and working with writer/directors, José Padilha (Narcos, Elite Squad), Pablo Larraín (Jackie), and Jonás Cuarón (Gravity).
